This is a guide designed to work side-by-side with you on accessing the HIPAA training.

Advance through the guide using the arrows at the bottom of the box. Perform tasks using the webpage on the right.

The Hawaii Center for Nursing (HCN) has standardized HIPAA training and certification. Now students and faculty have access to the HIPAA Training Module and post-test through the HCN site.

The HIPAA link is found under the Student Center tab.

under Student Center there will be the HIPPA link.

HIPAA Training Module

Read the information on the HIPAA page and access the HIPAA Training Module located on the right side of the page.

Click on the "Revised Information Security and Privacy Policies and Practices" link.

Post-Test

The training module is a PowerPoint presentation in PDF format. Read and absorb all the knowledge about HIPAA.

On the last page of the presentation there is a link to the Post-Test.

Link to post-test is in tha last page of presentation.

 

Print and Upload Post-Test

Complete the Post-test and print the last page before closing. Upload the page to your Certified Profile.
